Remember,

this is a partnership

and it takes two to tattoo…

Here, you can find a list of the most common questions and any information you may need to book a tattoo appointment.
  • The first thing you should do when assessing a new partnership with a tattooer at any shop is to take a look at the portfolio of the artist(s) you have in mind. Make sure the look of the tattoo you are seeking out matches or at least closely matches what your artist can do. Every artist has his or her own individual style, but also are very versatile and will work to make you the client happy.

Remember, this is a partnership and it takes two to tattoo. You must also respect and take into consideration the many years of training and experience your artist has had to make the right decision for you and the tattoo. Meaning, taking into account how a tattoo ages, how colors interact on different skin types, how lines and lack of lines effect the sharpness and contrast of a tattoo, as well as many other details your artist can explain to you.

If you are new to tattoos or just seeking a new experience we suggest to call the shop to book a one on one consultation (free of charge) with the artist(s) of your choice.

    SHOP MINIMUM

    ($100)

    HOURLY RATES

Hourly rates are at the discretion of the artist you are working with* and apply to LARGE scale work. (sleeves, back pieces, etc)

Small tattoos will be priced accordingly and fairly by the artist working with you before your tattoo is applied.

Pricing for “small” tattoos is based on body location, intricacy of design, color or black and grey.

Every tattoo costs the artist and the shop money to produce your tattoo using sterile equipment, cleaning supply’s, and experience. With this in mind we have a MINIMUM charge of ($80) per tattoo. This is a fair price to pay for something that will be on your body the rest of the time you are here. An old saying in this trade is that “Good tattoos ain’t cheap and cheap tattoos ain’t good.”

  • After your tattoo is completed your artists will bandage and explain to you how to take care of your tattoo as well as the reasoning behind what ‘to do’ and what ‘not to do’. If you cannot remember the instructions please check your aftercare sheet given to you or call the shop for any other inquiries. The instructions are also listed below…

    1) Please leave your bandage on for 1 to 2 hours as your tattoo will continue to bleed after application. ALL BANDAGES MUST BE KEPT ON WHILE IN SHOP!

    2) Remove bandage carefully and use a fragrance free soap and warm water to carefully and gently wash the plasma and excess ink out of the tattoo. Please then pat dry gently with clean paper towel to remove excess moisture and or blood/ink.

Avoid bar soaps as they harbor and grow bacteria.

Also avoid sharing soaps and ointments with others as this can lead to unnecessary complications.

Washing in a sink or in the shower is both acceptable depending on size and location of tattoo. Please be aware that your hands must be clean when washing.

    3) Apply a light layer of aftercare to your tattoo. The amount of aftercare will vary depending on the size and placement of your tattoo. Please DO NOT apply to much aftercare as it will lead to clogged pores. Apply 1-3 times per day as needed for two weeks or until the tattoo is healed. Please wash tattoo with clean hands in between applications.

It IS normal for your new tattoo to be irritated, swollen, or red for the first few days.

it IS normal for you to see blood or ink after patting dry even a few days after your tattoo is applied.

it IS normal to see drying and flaking of skin between 3-7 days of application of tattoo. This is a sign your tattoo is healing. Please do not pick or scratch at your new tattoo as this will not help the healing process and could cause damage to your skin and tattoo.

It IS normal for your skin to be itchy during healing. Slapping the tattoo lightly or using aftercare usually relieves itching.

We recommend using the aftercare sold by our business however you can use different products found at local stores. Some products work better for certain individuals as everyone has different skin types. Your best bet is to use liquid soap and a tattoo aftercare/moisturizer that is all natural and fragrance free as to avoid complications from alcohol's, parabens, sulfates, and fragrances.
